Local Resident Wins Mercedes in Drive For Cancer Wellness

This year, the Delnor Men’s Foundation successful Drive for Cancer Wellness Mercedes SUV raffle, helped the organization come that much closer to fulfilling their $250,000 pledge to LivingWell Cancer Resource Center in Geneva.

The purchaser of this year’s winning ticket was Geneva resident Mark Walsworth, pictured with his family and Delnor Men’s Foundation president Doug McCoy (second from right), Drive for Cancer Wellness event chair Joe Faron (third from right) and general manager of Mercedes-Benz of St. Charles Craig Falkenthal (far right).

All proceeds from the raffle benefit LivingWell, which offers a range of free cancer wellness programs, education, support groups and exercise classes to those living with cancer and their families. “Everyone who took part in this raffle can feel good about the support they have provided to those who are living with a cancer diagnosis,” says Faron.

Congratulations to our Early Bird Winners:
1st Winner - Roland Vanderhagen of St. Charles won $100.

2nd Winner - Craig Morgan of St. Charles won $200.00. Mr. Morgan donated $100 back to the Drive.

3rd Winner - Catherine Byars of Geneva won $500.00. Ms. Byars was totally excited about her windfall and stated she will be sharing it with her family.
