The Foundation supports the services and programs of Delnor Hospital, Delnor Glen Senior Living and LivingWell Cancer Resource Center. The Foundation is also supported by the Delnor Auxiliary and the Delnor Men’s Foundation volunteer fundraising groups.
Delnor Hospital has evolved from a small hospital to a modern medical facility offering state-of-the-art health care in a community hospital setting. As the area's premier healthcare facility, Delnor provides sophisticated and compassionate medical care to the far western suburbs of Chicago. Our commitment to excellence is demonstrated in the following ways:
- Designated as a Magnet Hospital - the American Nurses Association’s highest honor for nursing. Less than 6 percent of hospitals nationwide have attained Magnet designation.
- Patient Satisfaction – in 2008, Delnor was in the top 2 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient satisfaction with nursing care.
- Physician Satisfaction - Delnor ranked number one among U.S. hospitals in 2008 for physician satisfaction with nursing care.
- Designated as a Planetree Hospital – Achieving the Planetree designation sets Delnor apart as a hospital that’s reaching higher to provide care the way patients want it delivered; a place where patient comfort and dignity are as important as clinical expertise
